There should be a limit on the interest that credit cards charge. People need to be educated on how interest works and how credit cards can trap families in cycles of debt.
Transparent Legislation
Bills that go before the House, Senate, or on the ballot should be single items without so many things tied to them. The language they are written in should be plain English that everyone can understand.
Protecting Hemp Farmers
Current politics are targeting the hemp industry to build a marijuana monopoly, threatening our farmers and small businesses. Less access and higher prices push people toward dangerous street drugs. Hemp should be licensed like alcohol, not regulated out of existence.
